Two Volusia-specific points for a commercial owner. The July 2030 lagoon requirement covers commercial as well as residential property, so a restaurant, a small plaza or a park on its own system in Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach or Oak Hill is on the same two paths as a house: connect where a line is available, or install a system achieving at least 65 percent nitrogen reduction. And on the springs side of the county, the grant that helps homeowners is explicitly closed to commercial property — the county's eligibility list rules it out. Commercial flows are larger and the sizing work is different, so establish which rule reaches the parcel early rather than alongside a failure. Which path applies
Systems over 10,000 gallons per day fall under state environmental regulation rather than the county; we'll tell you which side of that line you're on.
All work is performed by local licensed, permitted Florida-registered septic tank contractors.
